From the reviews

Phenomenal care at Phoenix! Kimberlee helped heal a shoulder and neck injury several years ago, so when I had a new injury, I called to get on her schedule. She remembered me, which was amazing, considering how many patients she must see ( or maybe that’s not a good thing lol, but she was incredibly nice).

This is not your average PT jungle gym mill, where your therapist is juggling three clients at once and casually pointing at equipment while you try to guess what exercise you’re supposed to be doing. The staff here are exceptionally well trained, caring, and genuinely compassionate.

I was referred to Phoenix Physical Therapy by a friend. Having previously gone to UB Orthopedics and Excelsior, I was interested in something more hands on and not feeling like I was left to fend for myself. My friend told me that Phoenix PT was hands on and that they were more attentive. She was right!

Extremely experienced and knowledgeable. Have helped my knees greatly. Looking forward to be jogging soon! Each therapist is one on one with their patient for the duration of the appointment. Maddie has helped me immensely and is very kind and adept. The care is phenomenal. Have never had such great service.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
