From the reviews
I am not exaggerating when I say this place gave me my life back. I originally came to rehab a herniated disk that had gotten so bad I couldn't even sit comfortably. I had no clue PT could be effective for what felt like insurmountable chronic pain.
I went in for some knee pain and was worried about my long-term ability to avoid pain after being a baseball catcher for 14 years growing up. Ann Marie was able to not only get me back to feeling great with exercises and laser treatments, but she also gave me the tools to be able to deal with any minor issues in the…
I hurt my shoulder packing and moving and it was difficult and painful to make certain movements. I went to see Ann Marie and she was amazing. She did a thorough evaluation and explained why I was having the pain. She then walked me through several exercises and used a laser to help with the healing process.
PTI went above and beyond in supporting me through a life-changing injury. From the very beginning, their team demonstrated exceptional clinical expertise in diagnosing and treating the injury at the highest professional level. What truly set them apart, however, was their comprehensive approach to recovery.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
