From the reviews
Dr. Taleen is one of the most compassionate and knowledgeable providers I have ever come across. She provides relief immediately when I tweak something or sustain an injury. Her unique way of combining different therapies such as needling and cupping sets her apart from your average physical therapist.
I went to see Dr Taleen for lower back relief, and range of motion, I was very limited due to lack of exercising. Shortly after I started seing her, I was diagnosed with carpel tunnel and my only option at that time was surgery. Dr Taleen put her experience and knowledge to work.
Lindsey has been helping me remove nerve pain in my arm and ongoing tightness in my back. With her help I’ve been able to eliminate the pain in my arm, regain mobility and begin working on building more strength. She listens, observes, asks great questions and then targets problem areas with precision and strength.
I highly recommend Lindsey! I had never been to a physical therapist before, and was a bit nervous. Lindsey was amazing and put me at ease right away. She is so warm, intuitive, passionate about her work and extremely knowledgeable. After my first visit, I was very impressed.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
