Peak performance is the best. Take it from me. I’ve had 3 shoulder surgeries and numerous injuries. I’ve had so many different treatment options over the years between cupping, acupuncture, deep tissue, you name it. I’ve never felt better than when Donnie or someone else here works on me. They are professionals here.
I have been looking for an effective and pain-relieving sports massage for a while. That is, until I met Donnie.
I honestly wish I could give Jenya 100 stars because five simply isn’t enough. For the past three months, she has been taking care of me, and I can confidently say she is the best massage therapist I have ever experienced.
Peak Performance has changed my life completely. First off, they have the most professional customer service and both of their locations are very clean. I have gotten a massage by Donnie, Charlotte, and Danita. They were all phenomenal and they really know what they’re doing.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
