From the reviews

Partner in Health is fantastic all around. Both Dr. Courtney Drendel and Dr. Ryan Deniz are professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I highly recommend going to this practice if you are in need of some great chiropractic services!!

★★★★★ — Kara, Feb 2018

I have periodically been going to Partner in Health since 2017. Dr. Ryan Deniz and the rest of the professionals there have been amazing! When I started going to Partner in Health I had some issues following a previous hip replacement surgery. Since going to Dr.

I live in Elmhurst and I have been driving out to Geneva for my massage appointments for several years. My husband has since retired and joins me for the massage services of Agnes Zielinska. Both the old location on State St.

Dr. Ryan has taken away so much pain. I lived for years with this pain and thought it was never possible to take it away. Not only did he take away my pain, he is truly one of the nicest people I have ever met. I feel lucky to have met him.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
