From the reviews
From Ohio and I get massages about once or twice a month. Needed one while here in Bradenton. Looked up on Google and this place had good reviews...and now I know why! I was a little hesitant at first because it's not the building I expected but it was worth it! I had a 90 min with Darcy, and she was amazing!
I already forgot the name of my therapist. She was awesome! Really listened to my needs and wasn't afraid to take the time longer there and went super deep tissue on request. You need to move to Chicago. Lady got Sara, she said she was amazing as well! If we are back in the area, which most likely we will be.
Yesterday was my first visit here for a much needed deep tissue massage. From the minute I walked in, I knew this was the place for me. Sarah and Joni were very welcoming and friendly. Sarah did an excellent job working out all my kinks and knots.
My husband and I took advantage of a couples session and it was great! He had Sarah and I had Darcy and we were both very pleased with our massages. You can tell they each pay great attention to detail and focus on making you comfortable and relaxed. The sugar scrubs are awesome! We highly recommend Paradise Therapy!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
