From the reviews

Had a wonderful experience with Ava. I was experiencing a pain on my wrist after giving birth with the cyst for four years. I found Ava through friend recommendation. She responded quickly and was able to squeeze an appointment for me within the same day.

Came to see Dr. Ava Zhang for a shoulder strain and the results honestly surprised me — my shoulder felt so much better right after the acupuncture session, and I could move my arm way more easily than when I walked in. The clinic is also spotless and very well kept. Dr. Zhang is professional and patient.

AVA has been a great help to my family. She takes care of my two kids and myself with great care. My kids play competitive sports and they'd experience muscle pains or other type of injuries.

Highly recommended! I sustained a ligament sprain and was feeling quite anxious, but Ava was incredibly patient, thorough, and reassuring throughout the entire process. Thanks to their amazing treatment and guidance, I was actually able to walk the very next day! If you're looking for top-tier care, look no further.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
