Why P3 Physical Therapy & Performance is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “pain and dysfunction. From the reviews
Highly recommend friends & family to P3 Puckett physical therapy! I had the best experience from Tim, Trevor & other staff. I use to workout 5 days a week but i stopped that about a year ago. I was busy & didn’t make time. My job became painful everyday.
I had a shoulder injury. Dr Puckett and his team gave exceptional care and professionalism. They used various exercise techniques, cupping and dry needles. My shoulder made a full recovery and has better range of motion than before the injury. They were always friendly and flexible to best heal the injury.
I originally came to P3 for a tight L hip issue and after my consultation I decided to go with 12 sessions. It truly was money well spent in every aspect! I was given a systematic approach to healing, along with my weekly sessions with either Tim or Trevor which were amazingly beneficial.
I found Dr. Puckett through a Google search....after a prior back injury I began developing a hip problem with a constant ache, lack of mobility, and an altered gait. Tim was very communicative and knowledgeable about how to approach this problem area.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
