From the reviews

My massage therapist, Ruth Scott, on January 13, 2025, tried a new massage technique called cupping to help alleviate the pain of my chronic headaches. It was very relaxing and was not painful.

This was my first float experience and I wasn’t sure what to expect! The atmosphere was very nice. It wasn’t what I was expecting, it was better. You walk into a large private room. There is a ceramic tiled walk-in shower and then float room is attached to the shower by a sealed glass door.

★★★★☆ — Jodie, Jul 2018

I had not been here for a few years and just floated twice in 7 days. Not going to wait that long again. Very relaxing quiet time. The float tanks are quiet and the facility is very clean. Love the shower available right outside the tank. You can listen to music or just be quiet. Lights on or off.

★★★★★ — Teresa, Apr 2021

Theta floats was my first time experiencing floating, and I am more than pleased with my experience. The facility and staff make the experience very personable. Not only was it beneficial for my body and mind, but a time to reflect personally. The last several nights have been the best sleep I've had in awhile!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
