From the reviews
I received a same day appointment (due to a cancellation) for a lower back issue that had been bothering me for weeks. I took advantage of dry needling and red light therapy for the issue. I give Brittany 6 stars out of 5 for diagnosing my issue and treatment!
Brittney is so knowledgeable & passionate about her field. She was so thorough & helped me make a plan to help heal my body after having 2 babies. She was really good at explaining the exercises & was super gentle when scraping & dry-needling! She takes her time & builds a personal relationship with you!!
So thankful I found Salus Soma! Brittany is so helpful and I have had a much more comfortable and healthy pregnancy this time around! The routines and exercises Brittany gave me have really addressed my needs!
Brittney has been such a blessing to work with! From dry-needling to the exercises she prescribes, she’s thorough in execution and explaining everything she does. I can’t recommend Salus Soma enough.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
