From the reviews
I have dealt with chronic TMJ/bruxism and the resulting pain and muscle spasms for 17+ years. I’ve tried various treatments and prescriptions over the years. The acupuncture treatments I’ve received from Dr. Jennifer has helped me the most with chronic pain and muscle spasms.
Dr. Jennifer has been such an integral part of my healthcare regimen for the past few months. I cannot believe I haven't left her a review yet. My husband and I drive almost an hour to see Dr. Jennifer Ng. That is how much we trust her. My husband went in for low back pain and I went in for a bad hip.
I literally tell everyone to visit! What a tremendous improvement in just a couple of visits. Dr. Jennifer and Kylie are knowledgeable, professional, and spend time curating the best approach to meet your goals.
Dr. Mike is professional, knowledgeable, experienced, and empathetic. He listened closely to all of my symptoms, explained the treatment plan in detail, and answered all of my questions. I felt very safe and valued in his care and had a great first session. Looking forward to returning for my next session!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
