From the reviews

A month ago I had a Himalayan salt massage here which was lovely. More recently, I had a deep tissue massage with Rachel. I have a lot of pain in my upper back and this provided soooo much relief — thank you! Very friendly and calming environment.

I've been a devoted client of Omaha Massage Healing and Arts since their early days downtown, and I was thrilled to return for a session since their seamless transition to the vibrant Dundee neighborhood. Their commitment to therapeutic excellence hasn't just continued, it's flourished in the new space.

I have been coming to Omaha Massage and Healing Arts for a little over a year and have only had very positive experiences. I have had chronic sciatica and joint pain for a while, after seeing Sam and Venus for the past year my flare ups are minimal and less severe, and I always leave my massage relaxed and eased.

Was in town for a wedding recently and bed/pillows available at the rental wrecked my neck. How convenient that I could walk a block down the street for a Craniosacral Therapy massage. The experience was easy to book and my practioner, Kara, was gentle, experienced and helped me get to the wedding in less pain.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
