From the reviews
Lindsay is an incredible massage therapist. She is patient and thorough. Helps with being proactive and preventative. She has recently incorporated hot stone which helps me to relax so muscles can be worked out. I have also experienced her cupping technique which made a bigger impact than originally expected.
10/10 recommend! Beautiful, tranquillizing, clean, relaxing space. Jen’s full body myofascial release felt so damn good, transcendent, and healing. Katie has been a thoughtful and thorough communicator and coordinator as well. Feeling very lucky to have found them.
I purchased the couples massage “class” for our 5-year anniversary as a gift and we had SO much fun with Lindsay, the owner of Lotus and the facilitator of the class.
My daughter gifted me with an hour massage at Christmas. I was a bit apprehensive but am so happy that I went. I am now hooked on Lindsay's hands. After my first session I felt like a new person, now after three sessions, each a month apart, I can say she has made a great difference in how I feel.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
