From the reviews

I have had insomnia for DECADES and last night I slept for 9 hours! My only regret is not meeting with Pat years ago. Acupuncture has truly made a difference in my life.

★★★★★ — Emily, Oct 2021

Pat Flood has changed my life! I have been suffering from long Covid symptoms: insomnia, brain fog, lack motivation, no energy, and decreased attention span while dealing with tremendous stress! I joked that I was a true mess! I felt a difference in day 1! Now I am 5 sessions in and finally getting back to myself.

★★★★★ — Georgia, Feb 2023

Pat is so knowledgable and really takes the time to listen to everything that's going on with you in order to provide the most effective treatment each session. She is kind and caring and makes me feel safe and taken care of. I've already noticed improvements in several areas after just a few sessions.

★★★★★ — Haley, May 2025

Dr. Pat is brilliant, and I am grateful to have her as my main healthcare provider. Our community is really fortunate to have her wisdom and experience! She facilitated healing for me in several ways and I continue to see her for some chronic issues that respond and improve with her treatments. I highly recommend her.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
