From the reviews

I would highly recommend Physical Therapy -North Branch to everyone. The customer service went above and beyond my expectations and I was treated with the utmost care. I came in looking to get relief in my shoulders and neck after experiencing what I thought was a pinched nerve.

I love this place and the staff... I recommend everyone... I've been seen for many different things for physical therapy and pool therapy and each time I leave well informed... what's going on and what to do as well as why i need to do it...

NB Physical therapy has been a blessing for me for a few years. The knowledge and treatment they provide is exceptional. Going to them for a few different injuries over the years has helped prevent me from having to go through surgery. The ease of appointment scheduling, the great staff; NB is very lucky to have them!

I have to say this is the best company around when it comes to physical therapy. My son and my self have gone here on and off for years. When you come in Shyann greats you and then Andy or Katie will help you gain what you lost and be a 150% better than when you started with them.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
