From the reviews
I had a nagging shoulder strain that just wouldn't go away for 3 weeks. I had cupping done and the therapist really did such a good job working it out. After a few days of healing, my shoulder issues resolved and has not bothered me since.
Did I really want to drive to Happy Valley from Vancouver? No! But I am so glad that I did. Trinity is absolutely amazing. Best massage of my life and my first experience with cupping. She is so kind and she really listens to you.
This place is very clean and relaxing. I felt right at ease once I stepped into the massage room. Trinity made my experience everything that I wanted. She catered to what I wanted and asked throughout the massage if the pressure was okay and if the silicone cups were hurting.
Totally zen and relaxing vibe which is exactly what I needed. All my troubles dissolved for a moment! I absolutely will be coming back. I was worried about going to other massage spots like massage envy because it was full of men and I just was afraid of being made to feel uncomfortable.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
