From the reviews

Carla was very welcoming, knowledgeable, and comprehensive in her treatment approach. She did a great job of asking questions that not only helped her get to know me better as a patient, but also helped get to the root cause of the issues I was having.

★★★★★ — Kundai, May 2026

I have enjoyed my sessions with Carla thoroughly. I needed treatment to calm my breathing down,(asthma). She was very thorough with asking me questions to understand my symptoms. After getting the acupuncture needles into the trigger locations, I was able to relax in the treatment room, allowing the healing to occur.

★★★★★ — Lynn, May 2026

I cannot recommend Carla highly enough. From the very first appointment, I felt truly seen, heard, and cared for. What sets her apart is her incredible attention to detail and genuine commitment to getting to the root cause of whatever is going on—not just treating symptoms, but taking the time to understand the whole…

Carla is amazing! She’s kind, really listens, and somehow helps me figure out what’s going on even when I can’t explain it myself. Her acupuncture has made a huge difference for my super stiff, office worker upper body, and on top of that, she noticed signs of anemia that my PCP had missed.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
