From the reviews

I came to Nicole feeling a mess. I had both SI joint and lower back pain, and the usual "fixes" I had been relying on were not working. I was also feeling deep stress and anxiety and knew that I needed a new approach to deal with it all. I'd always wondered about Acupuncture and thought I would give it a try.

Nicole is the first acupuncturist I’ve ever seen and my visits with her have been transformative. She listens carefully and plans your treatment around both your short and long term concerns.

Absolutely phenomenal, personalized care! From my first visit, I felt the immediate impact of Nicole's tailored, holistic treatment. She helped me prepare and go through IVF and a (successful) embryo transfer, flexing her schedule to accommodate me and truly taking into consideration all factors in my life as she…

Before seeing Nicole, I was experiencing chronic pain in between my shoulder blades and in my neck area. After seeing Nicole consistently for a few months, not only was my pain reduced but i also noticed a shift in my headspace as well. I felt like I had an excellent, almost meditative experience during each treatment.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
