From the reviews

Nicole has such a profound knowledge of anatomy and how all the muscles, sinews, nerves, and bones can and do interact that she could easily be a valuable expert consultant on any mystery. This of course would be in addition to her already well-established practice as an outstanding massage therapist.

When I count my blessings, Nicole is definitely on the list. I am a 61 year old woman who really has to focus to keep good, healthy behaviors. The past few years have been my most successful, but the discipline came late. I am no athlete.

★★★★★ — Donna, Oct 2017

I have been working with Nicole for 7 years. As a recovering triathlete I need to visit her frequently to stay injury free. Nicole is the best at finding those knotty places and breaking them apart. She has great hands and an intuitive sense of working out where issues are coming from.

Nicole is an exquisite masseuse. Her technique is flawless, but that is not even the best thing she brings to the table (pun intended). Beyond technique, she brings presence, warmth, intuition, and serenity to the experience in ways that make you feel that this is what the experience of massage was always supposed to…

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
