Why Niche Massage is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “built around what your body is carrying the day you walk in. Nichelle tracks what you say, what you hold, and what you can't quite put into words, then shapes the session around what she finds. Aromatherapy, hot towels, cupping, and…” source →

From the reviews

Nichelle is probably the best masseuse in the area, maybe in the whole country. Her use of gentle movement, cupping, and theragun during the sessions really makes a difference in the effectiveness of the massage. Also, she LISTENS, and actually focuses on the areas that you highlight. Just amazing. Highly recommended.

I've been going to Nichelle for 10 years or so and cannot recommend her highly enough. She always starts with a thorough conversation about any current aches and pains i'm having and modifies her massage each time based on whats going on with my body.

First massage with Nichelle and I will be back. She really took the time to understand my lifestyle and what was going on with my body. It was also my first time getting cupping, which was a wild feeling!

★★★★★ — Micki, Jun 2026

Incredible!! Nichelle is super knowledgeable and so great at what she does. I’m so grateful I received a referral for her from a friend. She asks thorough questions so she can get to know your routines and activities and why you may be ailing in certain places.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
