Very cozy place and Tara was so personable - she made me feel right at home. Nice soft music played as Tara did an incredible job massaging out my tension and bringing my entire body into a relaxed dreamlike state. Extremely high marks to Tara and Nice to Be Kneaded!!!! Just what I needed!!!

I seen Tara for my lower back pain. I literally walked in like an old man hunched over. I told Tara right where the pain was and an hour later , walked out like a new 20 some year old man.. she made me feel right at home and very comfortable even though I was in a great amount of pain.

Tara does a fantastic job every time I have gone for a massage. She made my first experience very relaxed and I was completely comfortable. She always begins by asking where I want her to focus and what I’d be comfortable with this time. I will always go back to her. I recommend her entirely!

Cute and cozy place! Tara was so nice and personable. First time getting a massage so I was a little nervous that I would be squeamish but she was so good at what she does, I was very relaxed and I’m definitely going again! Tara made me feel comfortable throughout the whole session.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
