From the reviews
I’ve had a great experience at New Harmony. Jason is a fantastic practitioner and the acupuncture/cupping treatments, paired with diet/movement advice have definitely helped improve my neck and shoulder pain. He was also able to help with a problematic tennis elbow.
I became interested in acupuncture after dealing with an abscess for two years that was not responding to the traditional approach of surgeries and medications. Reading the reviews about Jason at New Harmony Health I felt he would be the best fit for me.
Jason and his staff are awesome. I went to New Harmony Health to treat chronic siatic nerve pain. Jason has taken the time to listen and understand my physical challenges and stress levels. Not only is the nerve pain been eliminated, my sleep has improved along with the mobility in my hands.
I am impressed with the level of care offered to me by Jason at New Harmony Heath in Vancouver WA. He listens during each visit and tailors my treatments to match my pain issues. I am 70 and have had chronic pain from arthritis for many years. The pain in my fingers, wrists and ankles have all improved.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
