From the reviews
Mark Li did my reflexology deep tissue massage and Lucy did my husband's deep tissue massage. Both were excellent and highly professional! I say this as a licensed massage and bodywork therapist with a healthcare professional background myself.
I cannot say enough good things about Mark Li and the way he runs and manages this place; he truly wants to help his clients feel better, feel relaxed when they enter his spa, and also to educate them on how to take care of themselves.
I love this spa spot for my massages. I’ve been going to this spot for the last two years and the staff is always very professional, they set a calm space to relax. I had a session with Mark today deep tissue and cupping. This was my second time to get cupping and let me tell you, Mark broke the kinks off my shoulders.
Mark was fantastic! I was having pain in my upper back and he gave that area extra attention during the massage. Although the pain didn't immediately vanish, two days later my back felt much better! The massage definitely did the trick. Mark is very knowledgeable and gave me some advice for how to help the back pain.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
