From the reviews

I am 74 years old and have had several chronic problems in certain parts of my body. Dr. Dischler was able to diagnose them on the very first visit, even though half a dozen other chiropractors and seven podiatrists had missed the problem.

For the last 2 weeks I wasn’t able to sleep more than 4 hours a night. Dealing with stress and strong heavy migraines made it difficult to focus on my daily tasks. I started having anxiety and realized that medications/ Tylenol wouldn’t help with the pain.

I was looking for a chiropractor that would combine a holistic approach to not only physical health but also mental health, as well as someone who would also be able to see my two kiddos (1 and 3). Being a crossfitter and a mom, I had a list of must haves that I was looking for myself as well as my family and Dr.

I highly recommend Dr. Heck at Nebraska Family Chiropractic. Following the birth of my son I struggled to maintain a healthy milk supply at which time I was determined to try anything. I tried many remedies for weeks to resolve this. It wasn't until after I started seeing Dr.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
