Love this place. Great results, communication, solutions, and care. Professional. Janine and her team are extremely talented, knowledgeable and caring. I am recommending to friends and family. Whether dealing with a health issue, or just wanting options for optimal health and wellness, this is a great place.
Janine is a delight. She’s easy to talk to, knowledgeable and very talented. Linda and other staff also were great. The office is attractive and well-designed. They offer a variety of treatments. I’d recommend Nature’s Balance to anyone wanting to try something new or looking for a change from an existing provider.
The ambient environment is relaxing. After 33 yrs. of going for mammograms with compression & radiation I followed my holistic practitioners advise in getting a thermography. I'll know more once I read the results. I'd recommend them to others. Linda Marie Peshek-Gerdes
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
