From the reviews
I had my first acupuncture appointment with Dr. Meghan yesterday and it was such a great experience. She was professional, calming, and took the time to talk through my needs. The session was incredibly relaxing—I felt really relaxed and so much better afterward. Loved the heating lamp! Dr.
I cannot recommend Dr. Meghan enough! After recovering from an Achilles rupture, I began experiencing chronic low back pain, likely from overcompensating while off my leg. As someone who prefers natural approaches over medication, I decided to try acupuncture with Dr. Meghan, and I'm so glad I did.
I had such a wonderful experience with Dr. Meghan! She has created a healing environment and takes the time to understand your individual needs. I left feeling refreshed and relaxed. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a therapeutic, holistic approach to healing and self-care!
I have been seeing Meghan for roughly 10 years and she is amazing. I started seeing her during her employment at Lifetime Fitness way back when and continued massage therapy with her while she went to school for acupuncture and herbal medicine. She is dedicated to providing exceptional care.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
