From the reviews

I started seeing Dr Zhu 2 months ago to treat my Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I could not make any plans or enjoy life with the symptoms I was experiencing. There is no cure for CFS. Luckily, my husband met someone who had traveled to Hong Kong for treatment for CFS many years ago, using TCM. She was slowly healed.

Dr. Zhu did an incredible job at taking care of a pinched nerve in my back that I had suffered with for years. I couldn't believe the noticeable difference of pain relief after each session. Now, after receiving the end of my treatment, I can't thank Dr.

Dr. Zhu is so kind and knowledgeable, and he made me feel very at ease for my first acupuncture ever (for my persistent low back pain). My mother encouraged me to see him today, as she is a firm believer in Dr Zhu’s treatments after he cured her of arthritis in both knees and prevented her from knee surgery.

★★★★★ — Noelle, Aug 2023

Been coming to Dr. Zhu for years- he helped me cure nerve pain that was debilitating my life at only 18 years old. He is the real deal and he is incredibly knowledgeable and kind. I continue to trust him to this day to help with my headaches and migraines.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
