From the reviews

I have never been to an acupuncturist or massage therapist. I was desperate for some pain relief on my IT Bands (outer thigh) pain that has been making sleep for a side sleeper dreadful.

I came to see Michel for excruciating back pain after seeing a chiropractor, orthopedist and physical therapist who all could not provide me any relief. Even anti-inflammatory medication and muscle relaxers were not effective.

★★★★★ — Andrew, Feb 2022

I have been going to IAMT for about 4 months for my shoulder and sciatic pain. They also specialize in accupunture. Which I plan on doing in the near future. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I have been seen by Michel and Tom for massages.

★★★★★ — Ashish, Feb 2025

I have been seeing Michel for 2-3 months or so at this point as I have been suffering with neck and back pain for many years and I have tried everything chiropractor PT,injections (which I still get from time to time) but I suffer from bad headaches as well due to my neck pain and numbness in my hands at times.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
