I went here about a week ago for sciatic pain in my lower back and pelvis. It was my first time getting acupuncture and the doctor made me feel really comfortable. If she sensed I was nervous about anything she would always ask or explain to me what was happening before it happened.
Fabulous. One of the area's best kept secrets. Her manner is determined, empathetic. Her office is lovely. The building itself, not so much. But once you're inside the office it all works out. She thinks of everything including the ambiance and the music.
Had knees pains from a pass meniscus tear. Had surgery 4 years ago, but the pain would return daily. My wife went to this location for severe back pains and found relief after going to this provider. What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
