Dr. Young is amazing and is probably the best chiropractor you will ever find in your life. I have been in over a hundred motorcycle accidents, fractured my neck and spine in 7 places, 42 known fractures and breaks, a long list of other extreme sports injuries.
Dr. Young is so compassionate and friendly. Her chiropractic care ushered me through a difficult pregnancy and recovery. Her holistic approach has truly relieved pain and suffering from headaches, rib misalignment and improved my overall wellness. I can't live without her!
I've been seeing chiropractors since about 1993, and really embrace the profession. I've gone to Natural Balance twice now and have been impressed with the organization. It's in a new clean space. Staff are nice, professional, attentive, good listeners.
Dr. Young is fantastic. I had recurring calf injuries from running and i was ready to quit. She worked with me to understand how my body is a system and my problems were caused by several things not having to do with my calves.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
