Why Natural Balance is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “had injuries or surgeries as well as those that are athletic whose muscles & joints would benefit from increased range of motion. The modalities she is equipped in; Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point, sports, prenatal, cupping, hot stone.…” source →

Dr. Young is amazing and is probably the best chiropractor you will ever find in your life. I have been in over a hundred motorcycle accidents, fractured my neck and spine in 7 places, 42 known fractures and breaks, a long list of other extreme sports injuries.
Dr. Young is so compassionate and friendly. Her chiropractic care ushered me through a difficult pregnancy and recovery. Her holistic approach has truly relieved pain and suffering from headaches, rib misalignment and improved my overall wellness. I can't live without her!
I've been coming here for acupuncture with Shawn and chiro with Dr. Baird for at least a year now. I've been dealing with a back injury, and I have had such a wonderful experience working with them! Shawn is incredible - he listens carefully and treats with such attentiveness and care.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
