From the reviews

Dr. Shanele is amazing! After I had my second baby, I suffered with severe sciatic and Lower/mid back pain when my baby girl was about a week old. Dr. Shanele was referred to me by the owner of Doula’s of the Palm Beaches, who I was also working with for postpartum support. Dr.

Dr. Lundahl is a body mechanic! She might be a chiropractor by trade but she is so much more. Yes, her adjustments feel GREAT but it’s the comprehensive and functional approach she takes to treating the body that sets her apart from everyone else.

★★★★★ — Libby, Feb 2018

Dr. Lundahl has been awesome to work with. The personalized workouts target weaknesses and quickly turn them into strengths. The "How To" videos, along with the tips she provides, really gives you confidence you're maintaining proper form throughout your workout.

I've seen Dr. Lundhal a few times for various aches, pains, adjustments, and a knee injury. She is very knowledgeable and took the time to assess my issues and symptoms to determine the appropriate treatment plans for me.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
