From the reviews

I've been going to Myo around a year now having a massage once a month and I've had nothing but a great experience with them. There member program has wonderful deals and there massage therapists are all kind, respectful and know what their doing.

What didn't I like about the massage! That is the question that you should be asking. Ashley did an excellent job working the areas that I requested and was very personable during the entire massage. I have a 24 hour running event this weekend and needed the knots, lactic acids, and toxins worked out of my leg muscles.

Absolutely fantastic! This was my first professional massage. My massage therapist, Marsha, was so good at explaining everything. The ambiance was so relaxing and my experience was absolutely amazing. Will be going back without a doubt!

★★★★★ — Abby, Apr 2021

I found the experience to be very enjoyable. My therapist made sure to ask me what was struggling. So I told her and she spent extra time on the troubled spots perfectly. There were moments where the massage felt a little too intense, but it was in a good way.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
