From the reviews

I’m updating this review based on the latest round of therapy in the 5+ years I’ve been coming to Agape. Everything I’ve written previously (below) is still true. For this round, Matt and Sara are doing an excellent job in evaluating and coaching me to restore full shoulder function.

★★★★★ — Steve, May 2025

My experience has been great! Agape therapists Matt and Cassie listened to my goal to walk without limping and are helping me get there with real results. It's really answered prayer that I am there getting healthy.

★★★★★ — Jake, Apr 2025

Everyone at all 3 offices is welcoming and warm. The therapists do great work and are patient and kind. I have had great results with therapy myself and am very appreciative of the work they did and the way they interacted with my elderly mother. (Don’t tell her I called her that. 🙀)

★★★★★ — Heidi, Oct 2024

My background is in health and I'm picky about good care. The team here is knowledgeable and supportive. They are definitely up on current research. My experience has been transformative and I'm on a steady path towards my goals with their help.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
