Why MVMT Performance & Physical Therapy is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “ing me on and getting me back to where I wanted to be. My first time to visit MVMT, I went in with knee pain that I had for months and the inability to straighten my leg. He suspected meniscus. But after just 2 weeks of cupping, dry…” source →

From the reviews

I can’t say enough good things about the team at MVMT! I originally started working with Nate to address some general muscle aches and lingering issues from previous injuries. He was amazing!

★★★★★ — Kathryn, Jun 2026

I've been lifting for five years, and every so often, I tweak my back. Usually, it would resolve itself in a couple of days—until fall 2025, when it didn’t. I was in excruciating pain for over a week, unable to stand up straight.

★★★★★ — Jake, Apr 2026

I was struggling with chronic back, hip, and knee pain for over a year. It made it hard to walk, sit, or even stand for long periods of time. I needed something to help relieve the pain because I began taking care of my granddaughter. The pain was constant and I found other treatments didn’t give lasting results.

★★★★★ — Julie, Jun 2026

From the initial phone call consultation I knew this physical therapy office was going to be THE place that was going to get me back to feeling like me. MVMT doesn't waste time and addresses exactly what you are there for and are very thorough to find the root cause.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
