…I got a massage, hot scrapping, and cupping. Alberto customizes the service based on areas you need the most work. The hour I had flew by and I was completely sold. The service was professional, went above and beyond, and was totally affordable! Huge value for this investment in yourself.
I don't always leave reviews, but after going to MHT, I knew I had to write something. I got injured a few years ago while working out, I've seen other therapists, but none have helped as much as just one session with Alberto. I really like that he makes you feel so comfortable being there.
Ashley at muscle healing therapy is the best. Very professional, welcoming and good at what she does. Since I work out of town and commute she’s very accommodating with my schedule. Cool name too because that’s what it is muscles healed.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
