Why Asian Spa is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “tsu to enhance healing, Ashiatsh (a technique using the therepist’s feet) to improve posture and circulation, Prenatal massage for soon to be mom’s and reflexology for overall wellness. From the reviews
I went in for a back massage and cupping as I keep getting it recommended. Im not one to do this but I gave it a try. The massage itself felt great and honestly they hit spots I could reach or do so effectively at home. The cupping was also interesting and felt good.
At the recommendation of a friend, I booked an appointment at Asian Spa. I have been suffering from chronic migraines, including pain around my left eye, as well as sciatica, which has been very uncomfortable for me. Jessica provided my service and was very professional.
I traveled all the way down from Northern California with my family of five, and—remarkably—we were all able to book massage appointments at the same time. A full-body relaxation massage combined with a foot massage cost just $65.
I got a deep tissue massage was a very relaxing experience. I will return soon to get cupping done. I recommend this place and it's inexpensive.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
