From the reviews
I had total knee replacement surgery and was in need of out patient physical therapy. I chose Mountain Land as they were just a mile from my home and they came highly recommended. Daniel worked with me for several weeks afterward. My surgeon was very impressed with my progress at 6 weeks after surgery.
We took our teenager in for knee and IT band pain. She was treated by Steven Hadley. He is FANTASTIC! He took great care in explaining what the exercises would be and why they would help her regain strength and mobility.
The two physical therapists (Brooke and Meg) that I have worked with at the West Point facility were wonderful. They listened to my concerns and offered various treatments to help me. My only negative about this facility is the assistants get to talking with one another and do not pay enough attention to the patients.
I have heard nothing but bad things about physical therapy until, this place. Zack and crew are awesome. They actually want to help people recover. I am post two ankle surgeries and my progress has been great. I wished that my doctor and physical therapy person was the same person. This is the nest best thing.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
