From the reviews
Our experience with Mark and his staff and Mountain Land Physical Therapy - Clinton is nothing short of AMAZING!!! We have had multiple members of our family in to see them with various rehab and therapy needs and each time the results have been great.
I went to Mountain Land in Clinton for several months and had a great experience. Mark is awesome at what he does and offers a variety of treatments I believe aren't available everywhere. He has awesome assistants and the rest of the staff is great.
Mark has taken the best care of me and my family for years. I'm an avid runner who has had injuries that required physical therapy and I've always gotten back on the road quickly because of Mark. He's always gone above and beyond to make sure my family has been taken care of and healed in a timely manner.
Mark and his staff are excellent. He has seen everyone in our family for any number of sports related injuries and discovered a leg-length discrepancy in my son that had been adversely affecting his gait and causing him pain. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and professional and genuinely cares about your wellness.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
