From the reviews
My husband and I got a couples massage while on vacation, and we were both impressed! I'm a LMT so I'm picky about the quality and effectiveness of the massage. The prices are very reasonable. I'm in Pgh where 60min runs anywhere from $90-$130, and that's cheaper than most other cities in the nearby region.
This was my first visit to Monacella Massage and it was a very good experience. The facility is very new and lovely…my husband had a pleasant guest lounge to wait in. I like to feel like I’ve had a massage when I leave so I prefer the deep tissue massage. My therapist Pamela did a very good job.
. I had a mud wrap followed by a Vichy shower massage. You stay covered on the massage table as they put the warm mud on your back, arms and legs and upper chest. You are cocooned up and take a little nap (or whatever you do with your down time in a warm, quiet room with low lights and soft music playing).
I’ve been to Monacella Massage & Kinesiology LLC three times now and I absolutely love it. I’ve seen Abigayle every time and she is amazing! From my first visit, to a couples massage with my husband, to coming in with serious neck pain, which she helped me so much with and made me feel like a whole new person.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
