From the reviews

To anyone that needs physical therapy, look no further. The owner, Jenny, is absolutely incredible and so great to work with. The facility itself is clean, welcoming, and obviously very well maintained. I ended up at Rise Up after dislocating my shoulder.

I have been in therapy at Rise UP since the beginning of December. I am on Medicare and so far there has not been any out of pocket, so for all you seniors in need. Don't hesitate, go now. As for my experience, my main therapist is Jennifer Doyle. She is the perfect combination of skill, empathy and accomodation.

★★★★★ — Anna, Feb 2022

Best PT I have ever been to. The whole staff was very friendly and welcoming from the very first moment. I walked into Rise Up with a plethora of issues. My knees, hips, feet, shoulders, etc. Rocky worked with me every week on these issues and was exceptional.

★★★★★ — Sam, Sep 2019

I highly recommend Dr. Doyle! As an active soccer and basketball player, my ability to run/jump/cut is everything. After experiencing a bad knee injury, Dr. Doyle worked with me every step of the way to return to full strength.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
