Both my boyfriend and I had fantastic experiences trying cupping therapy for the first time with Carol! He’s had quite a few massages and came away from it saying it was the best one he’s ever had.
Both ladies took their time to ensure my mom and I were comfortable the entire experience. The rooms were comfortable and the tables were warm. We were so relaxed, I could hear a little snoring going on. Lol. No matter who does my massage, it's always a pleasant and wonderful experience. Try these ladies out.
My husband made an appointment online and I came in for a ninety minute massage on my birthday. There's a seating area in the hallway if you arrive early. The studio is on the third floor, with both an elevator and stairs. The place is light and airy with multiple treatment rooms, a restroom and the checkout area.
Wonderful massage therapist! Katy was awesome- a true professional masseuse! She was very educated and very knowledgeable about the body. She knew exactly how to massage out my sore muscles and how to put me back together again.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
