I have so many good things to say about my first visit to the Natural Choice Acupuncture and Wellness Center. I was immediately comfortable upon walking in as Jo has created a peaceful and welcoming space. She has much experience with acupuncture and is extremely knowledgeable on the subject.
I couldn't be happier with the care I received from Jo. She's warm, caring, and incredibly knowledgeable. I'd had a pretty nasty cough for over a month. I'd been to the doctor several times and tried every typical Western remedy and still had the cough.
So very pleased with my acupuncture session with Jo. She is a great listener, compassionate and very gentle. The atmosphere is so tranquil. I came to her with chronic knee and shoulder pain. I felt almost immediate relief after just one visit! My overall well being was renewed as well.

What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
