From the reviews
I have finally found a first rate Chiropractor that made me feel comfortable right away. This practice is terrific; the care I receive is top-notch. Ryan is super friendly, with genuine concern & fun to speak with at every appointment.
I love this place. They are super friendly and helpful, plus they're usually able to get me in on short notice. I've been to quite a few chiropractors over the years, but Dr.Ryan is definitely my favorite.
I have been going to Mission Wellness and Chiropractic seeing Dr Ryan for a couple of years since moving to Kansas. His treatment on my different issues has benefited me greatly ever time I was seen by him. He is warm and compassionate and listens to you.
I love MW. I have gone to various chiropractors, but was impressed with Dr. Durand from the very first session. I have a lot of orthopedic issues and need ongoing treatment. I felt immediate relief the first session.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
