Why Mindful Bodywork, LLC is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. From the reviews
I've been seeing Jenna for a couple years for headache prevention. She is very professional and personable. Her knowledge has helped me with migraine prevention
I have religiously seen Jenna once a month for over a year now. I remember when she first asked me if I was open to her trying Ashiatsu as she just started learning it. Anything Jenna does is always good, so it didn’t make a difference to me!
Jenna did a great job. Most masseuses rush the massage but she takes her time. Every stroke counts. I’ve been twice now and both times I’ve experienced the best ashiatsu massage I’ve ever had. Jenna is kind and personable. She is very professional and makes you feel welcome.
Jenna is an excellent lmt! I’ve been seeing her for 4 years now since I have tension headaches. Always asks how you’re feeling and what areas may need more work. Always professional, kind, friendly and best of the best! The ashiatsu is absolutely amazing and definitely is worth it!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
