From the reviews

I had a wonderful “first” experience with acupuncture, from being greeted by the friendly front desk staff to my initial treatment with Emily, my acupuncturist. Emily was very kind, professional, knowledgeable and listened to my concerns.

I've been going for months. It's very relaxing and inviting at the same time. I had a serious injury, and I was skeptical. No longer am I because accupuncture worked for my injuries. It has a great healing and rejuvenating effect. The atmosphere is great, as is the staff.

I feel SO great! I had a massage today from Michelle. She has a very calming presence. I felt safe to let go and trust her to do her magic (sometimes that's hard for me to do). She gave extra attention to the areas she noticed where extra tense and let me know her findings afterward.

★★★★★ — Sarah, Jan 2024

I had an injury and, after that, was diagnosed with a bakers cyst. The treatment with western medicine was to give me a shot, as I was having a difficult time walking. In about three weeks time, the pain shifted to the other knee… I believe there wasmuch inflammation so they gave me another shot.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
