I had an amazing experience at Mile High Holistics with Kate. Booking was easy, my appointment began upon arrival without delay, and the treatment was exceptional. The facilities are relaxing, clean, and vibrant with positive energy.
Seth was an awesome massage therapist. I had a 2 hour session with him and came out feeling great. I asked for deep tissue, and Seth is a big guy and was able to provide good pressure. He knew all the right trigger points on me and also used cupping to target my areas of pain.
This establishment is awesome. Everything is very clean and welcoming. They respond quickly with their messaging and also easy to schedule. On top of that they offer a lot of services. Check them out and get an appointment. I had a massage with Sarah G and she is a fantastic provider.
My husband and I both had massages here for the first time. Both of us said we wished we had a place like Mile High Holistics near us so we could get a monthly membership. I had Luther and he did a great job working through my problem areas. He was very professional and asked several times about the pressure.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
