From the reviews
I had my first session with Michaela, and I’m already feeling so much relief from pain I’ve dealt with for years! Her combination of ashiatsu, cupping, and myofascial release is incredibly effective. I noticed a significant difference after just one visit and can’t wait to go back for more sessions.
Michaela does great bodywork! I regularly receive Ashiatsu and cupping (pump kind) from her. She’s great at listening to what your needs are - verbally spoken, as well as listening to your body. Pressure & comfort check-in’s throughout session.
Wow. I can’t say enough good things about Michaela. I’ve been seeing her for years for Massage and she has been an integral part of my healing journey. She has an extremely unique approach to bodywork, and uses both her intuition and skill to give you the highest release in your body possible.
Michaela is wonderful! From the second she greeted me at the door to our post-massage chat, she was intentional and engaging. This massage felt truly catered to my needs and built on what we discussed before I got on the table. This was my first time trying ashiatsu and I’ve been telling everyone how awesome it was.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
