…I am a moto rider and have had my fair share of “bumps and bruises” you might say. I have a list of medical diagnosis’ and have been to almost every specialist in the valley for something at some point.
…No over head charge for deep tissue, cupping, Swedish ect. just a base price. Enjoy their infrared light sauna or soaking tub! It’s so worth it after a massage or acupuncture! It’s hard to beat their price per minute and they keep everything sanitary and clean. Go check them out, beyond worth it.
…With her extensive skill of deep tissue and cupping the tension and discomfort melts away. I have gone out of my way to find ashiatsu in the past and with April I don't feel like i need anything else!!! Side note all the rooms at meridian are lovely with small traces of the owners love and attention to detail.
Meridian Wellness Center is so awesome! I had chronic neck and back pain keeping me up all night, the staff there have brought me out of pain and gotten me back to doing the things I love. The rooms are beautifully decorated and always very clean. The atmosphere is peaceful and comfortable.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
