From the reviews
I have suffered from lower and upper back pain all my life. In my professional life, I have traveled by plane, stayed in hotels, carried a heavy work bag, wore non-supportive dress shoes for 23+ years, and walked or climbed stairs extensively. In my personal life, I’m very active. We camp, boat, and travel. Dr.
A severe back spasm hit me over the weekend, and I was unable to get in to see my local chiropractor before leaving for an out-of-state golf trip. My flight out of Indianapolis was delayed for several hours, so I decided to look up a local chiropractor. Dr.
Our experience has been absolutely phenomenal. We have 2 high school athletes with all the tightness, soreness, aches and pains that come with high level competition. One visit with adjustment and cupping and the first kiddo came out pain free. Our other kiddo used their massage therapist and the same result.
Dr. Cruz is the best- he’s the only person that I trust doing my adjustments. I recently started using his cupping services and it has seriously helped my chronic muscle tension issues. I’m really excited to use his new masseuse and red light services in clinic.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
