Dana is the best! She is so professional and gentle!! I was getting lymphatic massages somewhere else in the beginning of my post op journey and I was crying and screaming of how much pain I was in.
I love going to Meñlow Bliss Spa. Always a great experience & very attentive to your needs. I’ve always gone to them for my post op care and I highly recommend . Very Cozy!
I’m an Army Veteran and Nurse that’s suffered with Degenerative Disk Disease for years. I’m that patient who refuses surgery and medications, but desires relief in my body… after attempting several different types of therapies (from Physical Therapy to Acupuncture and Hypnosis) for it without much success.
I was referred by the VA and I’m so glad they did. This place has literally changed my life! Their office and massage therapy rooms are always clean; calm and soothing but the best part is they genuinely listen and care.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
